Climber’s Assistant uses the phone’s barometric pressure sensor to calculate elevation.  Not all phones have this sensor.  It is still possible to load, display and replay existing recordings without it.  However, it is not possible to get real-time information while climbing.

 

I may implement an external sensor in the future if there is a demand.  Please let me know if there is any interest.
